Kemò-vad
2021
In Druid language Kemò-vad means “dancing with the wind” and takes inspiration from the homonymous dynamic meditative practice of Druid origins. This piano piece explores the notion of circular temporality where the same sound materials are circularly represented in different forms. The notion of sound-horizon is also explored there, with resonances held by the e-bow which constitute the background of the scene. I easily associate the "three-dimensionality" of the piano instrument, which makes it possible to really distinguish in which part of the instrument certain resonances or certain sounds originate, with this superposition of sound planes in the composition.
